Research your Keywords and Find a Niche
Using one-letter keywords may seem effective, but using longer more definative keywords will boost effeciency. "Book Sales" while descriptive and defining of a website related to selling books, "Fictional Discount Book Sales in Tulsa, Oklahoma" specifically targets the markets looking for "Discount Books in Tulsa, Oklahoma". Less importance should be given to number of users on your site versus qualified leads. Indication of your website relavence will be found on users bounce rates.
Defining a niche will greatly improve your websites bounce rate. Using the example above, the bookstore sells books related to fictional stories that were converted into movies. "Fictional Discount Books that were Converted into Movies sold in Tulsa, Oklahoma" would be an example of specific niche keywords to help produce qualified viewers.
Going one step further, specific keywords are less expensive when using products like "Google Adwords". We will discuss "Google Adwords" later.
